** Job Description**

**Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Director of ICU, the Telesitter is responsible to provide continuous remote monitoring and observation of assigned patients. Responsible for verbally redirecting the patient from engaging in at-risk behaviors and summoning the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.

**Qualifications**

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:

? Completion of an accredited EMT, CNA,OR- Currently enrolled in RN program with successful completion of 2 semesters of clinical coursework.

? Six (6) months experience in an acute care setting working as a CNA, or EMT preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

? Current EMT, CNA OR- Currently enrolled in RN program with successful completion of 2 semesters of clinical coursework.

? Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross required

? Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of hire
